Permanent, full-time Graduate Law Clerk role in Cairns with Shine Lawyers, offering hands-on legal experience and a pathway to a Solicitor career.
Your RoleKey responsibilities include:
- Working under the guidance of a senior practitioner to gain experience within the legal practice, assisting in representing clients, and providing accurate legal advice.
- Developing the ability to effectively assess claims, including liability and quantum.
- Cultivating strong relationships with clients and peers through exceptional communication.
- Preparing legal documentation with a high degree of detail and assisting with running a file load with commercial and fiscal awareness.
To be successful in this role, candidates will:
- Have completed a law degree prior to February 2026.
- Demonstrate a passion for social justice and an interest in plaintiff law.
- Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Be dedicated to delivering exceptional client service, especially in times of need.
- Effectively manage multiple competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Show a genuine interest in Shine's areas of practice.
