We are seeking an experienced and proactive Compliance Manager to join our team and ensure our operations meet all legal, safety, and quality standards.

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing compliance across our transport operations, ensuring adherence to NHVR requirements, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) laws, workplace safety regulations, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with NHVR, CoR, WHS, and environmental regulations
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of vehicles, drivers, and documentation
  • Investigate and address compliance breaches, incidents, or safety hazards
  • Manage driver induction, training, and ongoing compliance requirements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records and reports
  • Liaise with government agencies and industry regulators as required

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in compliance management, preferably in the transport or logistics sector
  • Strong understanding of NHVR, CoR, WHS, and related industry regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence at all levels
  • Proficiency in compliance software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Relevant qualifications in compliance, WHS, or transport management (highly regarded)
