Accounts Payable and Receivables Officer

Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable:

  • Issue all recurring and ad hoc client invoices accurately and on time using:
    • Internal spreadsheets
    • Client portals
    • MyPSR (for ad hoc requests)
  • Cross-check supplier costs against client charges; escalate discrepancies to the CFO.
  • Manage debtor finance, including drafting credit notes for CFO review.
  • Prepare monthly accounts receivable reports for review with the CFO/COO.
  • Email Statements of Accounts to Helpdesk for inclusion in monthly reports.
  • Escalate accounts reaching 45+ days overdue to CFO and Senior Operations Manager for client follow-up.
  • Ensure all chargeable consumables are invoiced back to clients according to agreements.
Accounts Payable:
  • Verify and process supplier invoices based on:
    • Contractor timesheets and check-in data
    • Supplier quotations
    • Utility bills (e.g., phone, power), ensuring all services are current
  • Report any excess/unauthorised use of company services (mobile phones, fuel cards, toll fobs) to CFO.
  • Notify Compliance Manager of any required changes to company services.
