This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing Marketing and Communications team that delivers integrated campaigns, strategic communications, and stakeholder engagement across multiple portfolios.

The Role

The Communications Coordinator will be responsible for the planning,

development, and delivery of communication activities across web, media, print, social media, and marketing collateral. The primary focus will be contributing to wider communications initiatives across other key programs.

Reporting to the Strategic Communications Manager, this role will involve producing a range of content — including media releases, speeches, digital content, newsletters, and advertising assets — and coordinating media activity, community engagement, and internal communications. The successful candidate will also support website content management and contribute to strategic planning across campaigns and projects.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will bring :

  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing communication plans
  • Strong written communication skills and content creation experience across platforms
  • Knowledge of media engagement and speech writing
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in or with government and an understanding of relevant protocols is desirable
