We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Director to lead a large-scale operating model transformation within our data domain. This is a critical position embedded within the team, driving strategic workforce evolution amongst other key initiatives.

About the Role

As the Program Director - Data Transformation, you will oversee a multi-stream initiative focused on reshaping how our data teams are structured, recruited, and aligned to strategic business goals. This is not a change management role, we're looking for someone with hands-on delivery experience and the ability to lead across both strategic and technical dimensions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute a major operating model transformation within the data function.
  • Drive internal workforce strategy
  • Establish a permanent, embedded presence across program streams.
  • Build strong relationships with technical data professionals; be someone who understands their language and ways of working.
  • Work closely with executive and delivery stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes across multiple streams.
  • Provide program leadership across planning, execution, governance, and reporting.

Must have experience

  • Proven experience as a Program Director or Senior Program Manager leading complex transformation initiatives, ideally within the data/tech domain.
  • Experience within financial services
  • Strong understanding of data and analytics environments - able to build credibility with data professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute workforce strategy and reduce third-party/vendor dependencies.
  • Comfortable being in the office 3 days per week to maintain stakeholder engagement and presence.
  • Skilled in navigating large, matrixed organisations and driving outcomes across diverse teams.
