Prompt Engineering has been a leading engineering consultancy since 2009, dedicated to delivering exceptional services to our community & industry. We proudly promote a family-friendly, inclusive working environment for our team within a collaborative, open-space office located in Wangara.

We are currently on the hunt for a confident and professional Receptionist to provide an outstanding first point of contact for all clients as well as stakeholders. Working part-time on Tuesdays and Thursdays, you will be helping to maintain smooth front-office operations and providing a high standard of customer service.

This role is ideal for someone with excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to communicate with a wide range of people in a professional and respectful manner.

About the role

Answering phones in a professional manner, providing information and transferring / screening calls as necessary

Greet clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

Provide administrative support to internal teams (data entry, filing, scanning, mail handling)

Assist with job bookings and client queries received via phone, email or through our company portal as required

Assist with basic office coordination tasks as required

We're seeking someone who is confident, friendly, and adaptable, with a proactive and highly organised approach to their work. You'll have a professional attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage your time effectively—whether it's a busy or quiet day.

To succeed in this role, you will bring :

Prior experience in reception, administration, or other customer-facing roles

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage professionally at all levels

A confident, calm, and polite phone manner

The ability to work independently

A friendly, attentive approach and a genuine commitment to providing a positive experience for others
