The Role

As an Exploration Geologist, you'll be at the forefront of active drill programs – from core logging and structural measurements through to validating data and supporting reporting. This is a hands-on position where you'll split your time between the rigs, the core yard, and exploration office, but contributing directly to resource development and exploration programs. Flexibility is key – you'll move across projects, adapt to different accommodation setups, and be ready to step in where needed to keep rigs turning.

Duties include:

• Core logging, sampling, and structural measurements (diamond and some RC drilling)
• Data validation and reporting – daily summaries, hole-by-hole updates, plus weekly/monthly contributions
• Liaising with drillers and ensuring accurate, timely communication with the team
• Assisting with interpretations to support resource development and exploration programs
• Maintaining excellent safety standards and a positive approach to safety culture in all field activities

What you bring

You're a geologist who enjoys being hands-on and close to the rigs, with the technical confidence to log core, manage data, and contribute to exploration programs. You're proactive, safety-conscious, and adaptable, with a genuine interest in WA gold geology. Most importantly, you thrive in a collaborative team where experienced seniors provide guidance but encourage autonomy and ownership of your work.

• Degree in Geology (or equivalent)
• 2–5 years' experience in WA gold exploration (core logging and structural measurements essential)
• Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and commitment to safety
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• WA "C" Class Driver's Licence and current National Police Clearance
• Familiarity with Micromine, ArcGIS, and AcQuire
• ATV certification (or willingness to obtain) desirable
