Overview

EA & Office Manager - High End Design Studio. This dual-role combines Executive Assistant duties to the Director with Office Management responsibilities for a design-focused architectural studio. You will provide comprehensive support to the Director while overseeing the daily operations of the studio to ensure a productive, efficient, and positive working environment.

Base pay range: A$80,000.00/yr - A$110,000.00/yr.

Working within a progressive architectural practice known for its innovative, sustainable approach to design and construction technology, you will be joining a team committed to creating thoughtful buildings that push boundaries while remaining grounded in human experience. The studio is recognised for its distinctive projects that blend cutting-edge technology with elegant design solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level executive assistance to the Director including calendar management, email management, and travel arrangements
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes
  • Assist with implementation of key business strategies and policies
  • Manage presentation of the office including preparation of meeting rooms and daily styling
  • Oversee studio equipment, facilities, and IT management (with external consultants)
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance studio operations
  • Organise corporate events including client entertainment, staff lunches, and workshops
  • Coordinate CPD and training opportunities for staff
  • Implement health and safety protocols for a secure working environment
  • Provide client and customer service including reception duties
  • Assist with project administration documentation as required
  • Attend industry events to increase the studio's visibility
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Office Manager, or similar role
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proactive problem-solving approach
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software
  • Experience in coordinating events and meetings
