Urgent requirement of Lead Business Analyst - Permanent - Sydney.

Responsibilities
  • Business domain knowledge, Technical knowledge across data analysis, data governance and risk assessment, quality assurance, data security, and privacy.
  • Meet requirements for compliance with regulatory policies and standards, from acquisition to destruction.
  • Soft skills such as stakeholder engagement across business, technology and risk, good communication and collaboration, problem-solving, knowledge of project management, and promoting data culture/change management.
  • Data culture adoption through the definition of data management policies and frameworks.
  • Alignment with business needs and reduced data risks, enhanced data-driven decision making.
  • Improved data quality and efficiency in data use, improved collaboration across stakeholders, improved implementation and enforcement of data governance, security, and privacy policies.
Required Qualifications
  • Practical experience conducting and documenting control testing activities, including IT general controls.
  • Experience supporting operational risk management processes with a focus on technology, within a team or project environment.
  • Ability to identify and assess risks, analyze data, and provide clear, actionable insights.
  • Understand data definitions, usage patterns, models and schemas.
  • Ensure data policies align with business needs.
  • Engage with business and support data governance and quality initiatives.
  • Engage with business for operational enforcer of data policies within the business/LOB.
  • Maintain data quality and integrity.
  • Monitor compliance with governance rules.
  • Collaborate with enterprise data teams.
