Your next career chapter is at Tweed Care Home (Tweed Aged Care Home | Northern Rivers NSW & Gold Coast QLD), where every day will be different. You will be trained to complete Strength & Conditioning physio classes, provide 1:1 companion support, be a dining champion, support engagement and intergenerational programs, learn medicator shifts, and participate in education sessions called "community of practice" to learn how to care for residents with needs across Dementia care, Infection and wound management, Falls management, and Palliative care, alongside colleagues passionate about being care professionals.

About You

Ideally, you have experience in the healthcare sector and the ability to "think on your feet," communicate effectively, build rapport, and have a strong purpose to help the elderly in our communities. Additionally, you have:

• A passion for choosing a career where you can make a difference and a willingness to help our company deliver quality care services every day
• Excellent safety awareness to prevent residents from tripping, falling, or hurting themselves — you need to be their extra eyes and ears
• A positive teamwork attitude, trusted as a co-worker, excellent time management (we operate on shifts with handovers), and strict adherence to safety procedures to maintain a high standard of workplace safety.
• Qualifications in Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) OR currently studying. We recognize other Cert III courses in related healthcare studies.
• Hold the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, which is essential to work in the Aged Care sector. (*or willingness to obtain)

Our care roles are busy They involve bending, lifting, pushing, and squatting to perform duties safely. All candidates will be required to complete an online medical assessment to maintain personal and workplace safety standards.
