The Team

Our Corporate Advisory team is deeply ingrained in the industries in which our clients operate, combining sector knowledge with commercial acumen and technical excellence. We have a strong history of serving high-quality clients with complex matters, and our team is renowned Australia-wide.

Our Sydney Corporate Advisory team is seeking a capable and motivated lawyer or Senior Associate with specialist Financial Services Regulatory experience. You will manage a broad spectrum of high-calibre matters, including drafting and reviewing fund constitutions and trust deeds, disclosure documents, authorised representative agreements, investment management agreements, compliance plans, financial services guides and AML/CTF programs. You will provide strategic advice to wholesale and retail funds, payment providers and other financial service providers, advise on AML/CTF compliance and advise on the acquisition and disposal of funds management and financial services businesses. Your client portfolio will include fund managers, financial planners, stockbrokers, payment providers and foreign financial services providers.

To be successful, you will be a driven and enthusiastic lawyer with at least four years post-admission experience. You will have a strong background in financial services as well as AML/CTF and general corporate advisory. You will possess strong technical expertise and a client-centred approach, enjoy a collaborative team environment, and be committed to building a successful career in financial services law.
