About the Role

We are working with a leading plaintiff firm seeking a motivated
Medical Negligence Solicitor (2PQE+)
to join their Sydney team. This role is ideal for a lawyer passionate about advocating for individuals who have suffered due to medical malpractice or negligence. You'll manage a diverse caseload, working on complex and rewarding matters that make a genuine difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities


• Manage a caseload of medical negligence claims from intake through to resolution


• Draft pleadings, statements, advice, and correspondence with precision


• Conduct legal research and gather expert medical evidence to support claims


• Appear at mediations, settlement conferences, and court hearings where required


• Negotiate settlements and achieve strong outcomes for clients


• Work closely with partners, senior lawyers, and support staff in a collaborative team

What We're Looking For

Experience:


• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience, ideally within medical negligence or broader personal injury law


• Experience managing matters independently is highly desirable

Skills:


• Excellent drafting, research, and negotiation skills


• Strong organisational and time management abilities


• Ability to build and maintain compassionate client relationships
