As a team member at Villa Maria Unanderra, you will provide essential lifestyle, social, and wellbeing services for our residents.

About the Role :
  1. Encourage resident choice and participation in activities
  2. Assist in designing, delivering, and monitoring lifestyle services and activities
  3. Implement innovative events, involving the community, volunteers, and families where possible
  4. Provide direct resident care during activities, including assistance with personal hygiene and toileting
  5. Support residents with meals, mobility, and social interactions
  6. Support your team and foster a cooperative environment
  7. Follow all safety policies and procedures to protect yourself, colleagues, and residents
Requirements for Success:
  • A kind heart and passion for elderly care
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Certificate III or IV in Leisure and Health, Individual Support, or similar
  • Previous experience as a Lifestyle Assistant
  • Ability to build professional relationships with residents and families
  • Reliability and teamwork
  • Respect for residents' values, customs, and beliefs
  • Willingness to obtain Police Check and NDIS clearance
