As a team member, you will provide essential lifestyle, social, and wellbeing services for our residents.

About the Role :

  • Encourage resident choice and participation in activities
  • Assist in designing, delivering, and monitoring lifestyle services and activities
  • Implement innovative events involving residents, community, volunteers, and families
  • Provide direct resident care during activities, including assistance with personal hygiene and toileting
  • Support residents with meals, mobility, and social needs
  • Support your team and foster a cooperative environment
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures to protect yourself, colleagues, and residents

To be successful in this role you'll need:

  • A kind heart and passion for elderly care
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Certificate III or IV in Leisure and Health, Individual Support, or similar
  • Ability to build professional relationships with residents and families
  • Reliability and teamwork
  • Respect for residents' values, customs, and beliefs
  • Willingness to obtain Police Check and NDIS clearance
