
Area Sales Manager Central NSW/MIA

In this role, you'll be our 'face in the field' focused on managing canola sales in the Central NSW/MIA broadacre cropping zone. You will be ensuring that Nufarm's seed & traits products in these market segments are effectively communicated and strategically positioned within the region to maximize sales across the Canola portfolio. This role will manage the Central NSW segment (location within territory flexible) and requires regular travel. A tool of trade vehicle will be provided.

How You'll Help Us Grow
- Preparing sales presentations, business plans and proposals to ensure successful outcome of transactions
- Actively calling on key accounts and assisting sales force to maintain end user pull through for Seed products.
- Ensuring that Nufarm Seed reseller clients and their end-users are equipped with the necessary marketing, technical and agronomic information to successfully recommend and use our products
- Organize regional marketing/technical training meetings with major resellers and/or end-users.
- Assisting with the market development of new products and the repositioning of existing products to maximize Nufarm returns
- Promptly responding to and resolving any concerns with the company or its products in conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager – East and National Sales manager
- Attending relevant industry meetings, conferences, field days and seminars.
- Manage the reporting/forecasting of Monola planting declarations to Monola grain partners
- Assist with the market development of new products and the repositioning of existing products
- Maintaining and developing end-user, reseller and consultant agronomist relationships
What you bring
You're an enthusiastic Agriculturalist with a broad knowledge of Agronomy and the Agricultural industry, ideally with a Broadacre crop focus including Canola but we are open to conversations if you are wanting to enter across from an alternative sales background.
You are energetic, engaging, customer focused, and results driven. You have excellent communication and time management skills and most of all, you're passionate about developing relationships with internal teams, customers, end-user growers and consultant agronomists as well as developing your own skills.
