Overview

Join MCC Brisbane team in an exciting and immediate opportunity as a Print Assistant. This is your chance to grow and develop your career with an industry leader and one of the world's most recognised label manufacturers. No prior experience? No problem. If you're mechanically minded, want to take that next step within a global organisation, and are eager to learn, we'll provide full training to get you up to speed. This role provides a pathway to grow into a Print Apprenticeship, gaining valuable experience in a supportive environment. The role offers a structured schedule with 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, with morning and night shifts available.

Duties
  • Supporting our technical print team in producing printed and embellished labels at a high volume for major national clients
  • Assisting the lead Printer in the operations of the press, including setup and minding
  • Job preparations using raw materials such as plates, paper, foil, ink and varnish
  • Basic data records on machine operations
  • Quality control checking responsibilities
  • General housekeeping of the working environment, such as cleaning and keeping the area safe
About You
  • Mechanical aptitude (preferred)
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Strong organisational skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to discern all colours (no colour vision concerns)
  • High regard for safety and a proactive, eager learner
  • Eligible for Australia working rights
