The key duties of the position include
These positions sit within the Marketplaces and Panels Team and are part of the Digital Sourcing Branch. We are looking for individuals at the APS6 levels to join the Marketplaces and Panels Team. As a Panel Management Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the strategic and operational management of the Cloud, Software, Hardware, Telecommunication Marketplaces and Data Centre Panels.

These roles focus on stakeholder engagement, contract and procurement advice, and contributing to digital transformation initiatives through effective panel oversight and performance reporting.

  • Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including sellers and agencies.
  • Provide advice to support agencies on their ICT transformation journey.
  • Opportunities to work on projects that drive change and deliver innovative solutions to government agencies.
  • Contribute to the successful management of whole-of-government panels and arrangements.

We are looking for someone who can:
  • Understand government ICT and digital transformation policies, rules, legislations and frameworks, especially for the DTA Marketplaces and Panels.
  • Support Agency contract management on high impact, complex arrangements and contract issues to deliver better outcomes for commonwealth.
  • Provide expert advice to key stakeholders on all aspects of procurement, to encourage innovative practices and support delivery of business and policy directions.
  • Support the team and cross-functional working groups to achieve a high-level of performance, integration and consistency across the broader DTA.
  • Assist with reporting activities in relation to supplier performance, customer satisfaction and market intelligence, including assessing market trends.
