The key duties of the position include

This position is within the Marketplaces and Panels Team, part of the Digital Sourcing Branch. We are looking for individuals at the APS5 level to support the strategic and operational management of the Cloud, Software, Hardware, Telecommunication Marketplaces, and Data Centre Panels.

The role involves stakeholder engagement, contract and procurement advice, and contributing to digital transformation initiatives through effective panel oversight and performance reporting.

  • Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including sellers and agencies.
  • Provide advice to support agencies on their ICT transformation journey.
  • Work on projects that drive change and deliver innovative solutions to government agencies.
  • Contribute to the successful management of whole-of-government panels and arrangements.

We are seeking someone who can:

  • Understand government ICT and digital transformation policies, rules, legislations, and frameworks, especially related to DTA Marketplaces and Panels.
  • Support agency contract management on high-impact, complex arrangements and issues to deliver better outcomes for the Commonwealth.
  • Provide expert advice on procurement to encourage innovative practices and support policy and business objectives.
  • Support team and cross-functional group performance, integration, and consistency across DTA.
  • Assist with reporting on supplier performance, customer satisfaction, and market intelligence, including market trend analysis.
