Dental Receptionist Casual Full Time

  • A leading dental practice in Queensland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Receptionist to join their team on a casual full-time basis.
Job Description

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk, handling patient bookings, and maintaining accurate records.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of dental terminology, knowledge of computer systems, and experience working in a clinical setting. They must also be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk Operations:

  • Manage patient bookings and appointments
  • Handle incoming calls and respond to patient queries
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Patient Communication:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options and procedures
  • Address patient concerns and resolve issues promptly

Administrative Tasks:

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records
  • Process payments and handle billing inquiries
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
