As we continue to secure projects across NSW and QLD, Alfabs is entering an exciting growth phase. We are seeking experienced Full-Time Field Service Technicians to join our Kurri Kurri team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, progress your career, and contribute to the growth and success of the business.

To be successful in this position, you should possess the following:

  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Field Service Trades Mechanical and Electrical – Coal Cutting/Face Machinery
  • 4 on 3 off rostering with Overtime in the Hunter Region
  • Possibility of Weekend Roster
  • Face Machinery Experience required
  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • Current driver's license
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Coal Board medical
  • Exceptional work ethic
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet company goals
  • Understanding of drawings and project scope of works

Other desirable skills and experience:

  • Coal Board Medical
  • Forklift license

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-start checks on equipment
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment
  • Repair diesel equipment such as LHDs and Drift Runners
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
