Early Childhood Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to guide our 74-place Kurri Kurri service as Centre Director. As Nominated Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in establishing a high-quality early learning environment.


  • Promote excellence in early childhood care and education by fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement staff development programs to enhance leadership skills and improve centre outcomes.
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for children and families by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve centre goals and objectives through strategic planning and effective communication.

About You:

  • Hold an approved Diploma/Teaching Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Have experience in staff development and leadership, preferably in a similar role, demonstrating your ability to drive positive change and improve centre performance.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS), applying this expertise to drive centre improvements.
  • possess excellent communication and computer skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.
  • Hold current First Aid, CPR, Child Protection, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates, and a Working with Children Check.
