About Only About Children

We believe children have a right to a choice when it comes to their learning, which is why at Only About Children (OAC) the basis of our curriculum is child-led play-based learning. This is embedded into our daily practice with programs such as Active, Drama, Language, Music and Sustainability. Our programs are not 'bolted on', they are embedded into everything that we do.

The Role & Campuses

Our Sydney Campuses are looking to welcome full-time ECT qualified Early Childhood Teachers with at least two years of full-time post-accreditation work experience. The role is for a Teacher level 1-5 (Teacher Award) with a salary range of $78,882 - $109,154, depending on level and experience. Campus locations can be viewed on our website: www.oac.edu.au.

Only About Children's early learning Campuses are designed to inspire 0–6-year-olds to grow, learn and discover. Spanning three levels with age-specific learning environments, the Campuses provide an open, yet intimate atmosphere. The playgrounds and resources are designed to support interactive, engaging experiences for children.

Key Duties
  • Planning and implementing the educational program which values a holistic view of each child's development
  • Maintaining ongoing records of the children's development, program and daily information
  • Assisting with daily room tasks – e.g. activity preparation and mealtimes
  • Ensuring the high quality of services in alignment with the National Quality Standards
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant Government Regulations
  • Guiding team members with their professional development, individual goals and performance

Requirements Of The Role
  • A Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or equivalent ACECQA approved teaching qualifications
  • Valid NESA registration (Early Childhood)
  • Minimum two years full-time work experience
  • Experience in planning and implementing the educational program which values a holistic view of each child's development
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF
  • Effective implementation of pedagogy in your teaching practice
  • Valid Employee Working with Children Check number
