Our client is a regional carrier based in Perth, WA, operating DeHavilland Dash 8 aircraft on FIFO and charter flights across Australia since 1985. They value innovation, communication, and provide opportunities for growth and recognition within a small, dedicated team.
They are seeking a skilled Technical Records & Reliability Officer to support the Airworthiness department. Reporting to the Responsible Manager for Airworthiness, you'll oversee technical records, generate reliability data, and assist with maintenance planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter Work Packages into the Engineering Maintenance Database.
- Monitor aircraft schedules for optimal utilization and maintenance coordination.
- Generate monthly reliability reports and facilitate meetings.
- Ensure data integrity in maintenance databases and report discrepancies.
- Oversee the filing and storage of aircraft/component records.
- Provide feedback on technical record quality and assist the Airworthiness team as needed.
Experience Required
- Proven experience managing technical records in aviation or similar fields.
- Familiarity with aircraft maintenance processes and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail in data entry and record-keeping.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Access, and maintenance databases.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to resolve record discrepancies.
- Team-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Aviation maintenance certifications or additional engineering training.
- Ability to analyze reliability data and produce reports.
- Familiarity with aviation regulations and compliance.
