
Junior Yacht Sales Broker/ Sales Administrator

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Junior Sales Broker with strong administrative skills to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting yacht sales, from prospecting and client engagement through to closing deals, while also assisting with the essential sales administration that ensures smooth operations. This is an excellent opportunity to develop into a senior broker role within the luxury yachting industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesYacht Sales (Primary Focus)
- Proactively generate and follow up on new leads, building a strong client network.
- Assist country manager in preparing for and conducting client meetings, yacht viewings, and sea trials.
- Develop detailed product knowledge of Sanlorenzo & Simpson Marine's portfolio, with a strong focus on Sanlorenzo & Bluegame yacht ranges.
- Conduct market research and analysis on yacht listings, trends, and pricing strategies.
- Prepare compelling sales presentations and assist in negotiations for brokerage and new build yachts.
- Represent Sanlorenzo & Simpson Marine at local and international yacht shows, client events, and promotional activities.
- Build long-term client relationships by providing exceptional service and after-sales support.
- Progressively assume responsibility for managing your own client accounts and sales opportunities.
Sales Administration (Secondary Support)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and sales data in CRM systems.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, contracts, and sales documentation.
- Coordinate logistics for boat shows, open days, and marketing events.
- Support the marketing team in creating listings, brochures, and digital campaigns.
- Handle incoming inquiries and ensure prompt, professional responses.
- Provide back-office support to Country Manager to ensure smooth deal flow and client handovers.
- Passion for luxury sales, marine lifestyle, or the yachting industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage high-net-worth clients.
- Proactive, commercially minded, and eager to grow a career in luxury yacht brokerage.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel within Australia and internationally for client meetings, events, and yacht shows.
- Team player, well organized and able to work independently.
- Knowledge of boating and yachting industry in Australia/NZ & internationally is a strong plus.
- A structured pathway to develop into a fully-fledged yacht broker.
