Marshall Truck Solutions is a fast-growing truck and heavy vehicle workshop providing diagnostics, mechanical repairs, servicing, air conditioning and transport fabrication to valued clients throughout Queensland.

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and proactive Senior Workshop Administrator to join our friendly team at our busy workshop in Rocklea, QLD.

The ideal candidate will have previous advanced level administration experience within a workshop environment, strong organisational skills and high attention to detail. You will have excellent computer skills and the ability to deliver consistent, high quality customer service to all our clients.

You will be an integral part of our team and show initiative in streamlining and improving workflow processes.

A strong team fit is crucial for this role, along with a genuine interest in the heavy vehicle industry.

We will consider both part-time and full-time working hours (25 to 38 hours per week) to suit individual needs for the right candidate. We can also offer flexible start and finish times, including school hours.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Providing high quality and consistent customer service

Scheduling jobs, creating job numbers and tracking each job through to completion

Generating and finalising detailed job invoices

Efficiently responding to emails and phone calls, redirecting enquiries as required

Prioritising office workload to ensure completion of tasks within specified deadlines

General bookkeeping, administration tasks and data entry

Support and clearly communicate with directors and managers around business operations

Reconciling transactions, end of month statements and managing customer accounts

Expediting purchase orders, facilitating parts ordering and returns

Supporting workshop operations as required e.g. parts run, re-ordering stock

Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with suppliers, customers and clients

Essential skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail with great organisational and time management skills

Strong work ethic with willingness to learn

Confidently thrive in a team setting, build rapport and maintain positive working relationships

Positive attitude, energetic and friendly disposition

Reliable, adaptable and motivated person who can work efficiently with minimal supervision

Excellent computer and literacy skills, accuracy in data entry

What you need:

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role

Valid driver's licence and willingness to drive company vehicles

Australian residency

Competency in Microsoft Office and Xero

Administration or Bookkeeping qualification is highly desirable
