The role?
We are looking for a Quality Control and Assurance (QA/QC) to support the Project Team to install a quality, right first time philosophy and culture among all EnerMech project personnel and contractors.
Working largely at our Gladstone facility with potential trips to local sites, you will ensure and foster full adherence to the requirements of the Project Quality Plan and Site Quality requirements. The primary project will be valve overhaul and distribution, with opportunity to assist other business lines where appropriate. The valve inspection will include booking in valves on arrival for overhaul, checking quality of valves prior to dispatch and checking QA cards. You may also be required to carry out inspection on plant and equipment prior to dispatch to client sites. Site allowances and incentives additional to hourly rate.
You are?
A quality control/assurance expert, time served, with ideally some experience in valve, pumps, machinery or the oil and gas industry. You must be keen to learn and good at working in small teams and interacting with workshop staff and clients. Encouraging teams to continuously improve will be your forte and you will provide and accept meaningful feedback whilst communicating and delivering to clear performance standards.
Qualifications and experience:
- Engineering or mechanical trade
- Experience and working exposure to a variety of valves desirable
- A demonstrated commitment to safety & willingness to learn
