About The RoleWe are recruiting a full-time Waste Treatment Plant Operator for a Monday to Friday shift, from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, at a pay rate of $28.53 per hour. The role involves operating a forklift and supporting the Waste Treatment team; full training will be provided.
Responsibilities- Operate forklift and attachments safely.
- Monitor and operate wastewater treatment plant and equipment.
- Load and process waste meat and wastewater sludge.
- Understand quality procedures, processing equipment, plant maintenance, and cleaning chemicals.
- Communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.
To succeed, you should demonstrate:
- Current forklift license (desirable).
- Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and Quality Practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- High interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
