Mobile Plant Operator

Waste Services is seeking a Mobile Plant Operator at the new Moolap Transfer Station.
You will be a key player in the safe and successful operations of the waste transfer station. You will ensure customers needs are prioritised, whilst efficiently loading transfer trailers.
As a plant operator you will be required to operate a grab and front end loader.
You will need to be able to separate materials, load trucks and push up stockpiles
You will also be required to undertake minor maintenance on the machines
Comply with all health and safety requirements including completing pre-start checks on machines
Communicate effectively and respectfully with all customers and other staff
Ensure the site is meeting all environmental obligations
You will also be required to get your hands dirty from time to time
To be a successful candidate for the role you must have the following
Tickets for Front End Loader and Excavator
Minimum 2 years experience
Waste Management experience
Positive attitude
Waste Services is a specialist landfill, and recycling centre operations and advisory contractor. We provide a range of operating services including, waste facility operations, waste transport, recycling optimisation and advisory services.
