Permanent full-time role, Monday to Friday – 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Work across our residential aged care homes located at Macquarie Park: Shalom Centre, Dorothy Henderson Lodge and Cooinda Court. Design and implement engaging activities tailored to each resident's preferences, goals and life experiences.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Leisure and Lifestyle Services, this role supports the lifestyle teams to deliver engaging opportunities for over 270 residents across the three aged care homes at our Macquarie Park campus. You will partner with residents to create, plan, implement and evaluate a diverse leisure and lifestyle program. You will use creativity and innovation to deliver meaningful activities tailored to individual life experiences, goals and preferences, and you will support and lead a team to deliver the best outcomes for people living in our communities.

You will have the opportunity to work across the three well-established aged care homes in Macquarie Park: Shalom Centre, Dorothy Henderson Lodge, and Cooinda Court, each with unique offerings to its residents. About You
  • Diploma of Leisure and Health, Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or related/equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in the aged care sector
  • Proven leadership experience in aged care or a community setting
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of current Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
  • Current Driver's license
