Oji Fibre Solutions Qld Pty Ltd requires a highly driven, results orientated People Leader to drive the successful operation of the Day Shift at our state of the art cardboard corrugated packaging site in Yatala Qld.

Our Yatala plant manufactures fibre boxes which play an important part in the presentation, protection, and transportation of our major customer's products within the Horticulture, Meat, Industrial, FMCG and Paper Products segments.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will oversee the smooth and efficient operation of the day shift team (around 25 members) across both corrugator and converting processes. Your leadership will focus heavily on safety as well as boosting productivity and performance by actively engaging your team, while driving and executing continuous improvement initiatives to elevate the site's overall performance to the next level.

To be considered for this team leading opportunity, you must:
  • be a hands on people leader with the demonstrated ability to lead, engage and inspire teams to deliver outcomes
  • Safely home everyday mindset
  • be target driven and passionate for results
  • be able to develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders with the focus on customers
  • thrive on working both independently and in a team
  • have exposure to 5S, GMP and food safety
  • have intermediate Microsoft Office skills

A background in a fast-paced manufacturing and/or packaging environment is highly desirable however not essential. Tertiary qualifications in manufacturing, engineering or equivalent will also be highly regarded.
