We're exclusively partnering with a well-established, high-volume food manufacturing business to recruit a Night Shift Production Supervisor.This is a key operational leadership role, responsible for managing end-to-end production across the night shift.
You'll be leading a diverse team, overseeing cleaning and fill operations, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and keeping production targets on track.
Start times vary depending on the product — either 12am or 3am — and an incentive bonus structure is in place to reward high performance.What You'll Be DoingProduction OperationsCoordinate all night shift activities including room cleaning, product fills, and production handoversManage room setups, post-fill assessments, and material flow across the siteOversee waste movements, traffic flow, and customer pickupsEnsure equipment readiness and correct placement of machinery before productionLead and coach production staff including operators, cleaners, and shift leadsManage rosters, approve timesheets, and ensure appropriate resourcingConduct onboarding, training, and regular performance check-insSupport a culture of accountability, safety, and high outputSafety & ComplianceDrive compliance with WHS protocols and food safety proceduresInvestigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actionsMaintain safety records and ensure PPE, risk, and audit standards are metQuality & Continuous ImprovementMonitor quality outputs and investigate non-conformancesEnsure production meets regulatory and food safety standardsIdentify areas for improvement and contribute to CI initiativesMonitor shift-based expenses and contribute to cost controlTrack KPIs and report operational performance to site leadershipParticipate in planning and continuous improvement discussionsAbout YouProven leadership experience in a production or manufacturing environmentBackground in food, FMCG, fresh produce or agricultureComfortable managing night shift operations and early start timesStrong grasp of compliance, safety, and quality standardsHands-on, adaptable, and calm under pressureConfident communicator and team builderThe OfferNight shift position with consistent hours and early starts (12am or 3am depending on product)Incentive bonus structure in place to reward strong leadership and team performanceStable, long-term role within a large-scale food production environmentH People is proudly representing this opportunity exclusively.Salary match Number of applicants Skills matchTo help fast track investigation, please include here any other relevant details that prompted you to report this job ad as fraudulent / misleading / discriminatory.Researching careers?
