  • Salary: $102,127 to $111,989 per annum + super + leave loading

Description

On 1 July 2025, the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) transitioned to a Statutory Body, guided by our values and focused on developing fit-for-purpose governance and corporate arrangements to support our vision of Inspiring Extraordinary Sporting Success.

We are seeking a motivated individual who excels at building strong relationships and taking ownership of delivering high-quality business support within the Corporate Services team.

The Corporate Services Operations Coordinator will collaborate across the team to ensure we provide agile and responsive services supporting our high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level business and senior administrative support to the Executive Director of Corporate Services, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, managing diaries and travel, handling correspondence, and supporting financial and purchasing functions.
  • Monitor and respond to urgent inquiries on behalf of the Executive Director, exercising appropriate autonomy to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Assist in coordinating projects and tasks as directed, requiring bespoke problem-solving, and preparing professional briefings and reports.
  • Perform confidential secretarial and administrative duties independently, setting realistic goals, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring timely completion to meet deadlines.
