The School

Arbor Grove Primary School (PS) is a dynamic and inclusive learning community located in Ellenbrook, Western Australia. We proudly serve a richly diverse population, with students representing over 40 different cultures and backgrounds, and approximately 15% identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. This cultural diversity is a valued part of our school identity and enriches our learning environment.

We offer a broad and engaging curriculum that includes specialist programs in Science, Physical Education, Languages Other Than English (LOTE), and Music. These programs provide students with opportunities to explore their interests and develop a wide range of skills beyond the classroom.

Our team of dedicated and experienced educators is committed to fostering student engagement, improving attendance, and supporting wellbeing. We take a holistic approach to student care, supported by our Aboriginal & Islander Education Officer, school psychologist, and school chaplain.

In partnership with our Parents & Citizens (P&C) Association, we are enhancing our school grounds with nature-based play facilities, promoting creativity, exploration, and connection to the environment.

At Arbor Grove Primary School, we are deeply committed to the academic, social, and emotional development of every student. We strive to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where all children feel safe, supported, and inspired to achieve their personal best.

Find out more about our school by visiting Arbor Grove Primary School or Schools Online.

The Role

Embark on a fulfilling journey in our team as we seek dedicated teachers for our upper primary classes who ideally have exceptional interpersonal skills and a natural ability to cultivate positive relationships with parents, students, and colleagues. In our vibrant school community, we place a strong emphasis on values and a positive culture.

Join us in fostering a shared vision anchored in whole-school connected practice, collaborative team structures, and a commitment to professional growth. We celebrate innovation and leadership, encouraging educators to actively seek opportunities within our dynamic team. Whole child development is paramount to our mission, and we invite teachers to actively engage in the school community, reflecting on teaching practices.

Embrace a culture of accountability, where motivated educators are committed to delivering best practices, grounded in evidence-based decision-making and differentiation. Transparent classroom management and a willingness to adopt Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) contribute to our positive and supportive educational environment. It would be advantageous for applicants to have a detailed knowledge of Promoting Literacy Development (PLD), Talk 4 Writing and Talk 4 Reading as they are key whole school programs.

If you are a passionate educator ready to contribute to a culture of positivity, innovation, and collaboration, we invite you to apply and become an integral part of our inspiring teaching team.
