The RoleSutherland Dianella PS is seeking to establish a pool of Teachers to join our team. Suitable applicants will ideally be passionate, motivated and skilled educators who are committed to improving literacy and numeracy outcomes for every child, every day. This is achieved through our whole-school approaches, explicit teaching, and evidence-based instructional strategies. A strong knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum is essential, along with the ability to plan for school improvement by using and responding to a range of data sources. The successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to ongoing curriculum and pedagogical development. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as the successful applicants will work closely with students, colleagues, and the wider community to achieve optimal educational outcomes. Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to apply differentiated instruction and explicit teaching strategies are highly valued. Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), Talk 4 Writing, InitiaLit, PLD and The Resilience Project is beneficial to the role, as these are key components of our whole-school approach to student wellbeing and literacy development.

Eligibility- Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. More information about employment eligibility can be found on the Department's website.

- Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
