CPA are actively recruiting for experienced & resilient Disability Support Workers with a proven track record of supporting clients with challenging behaviours/behaviours of concern. Primarily, these positions include in-home based support where you\'ll have the opportunity to directly engage with clients and help to build independence through working towards individual goals. This particular house is home to clients with challenging behaviours, and as such we are seeking highly competent and confident Disability Support professionals with the expertise and demeanor needed to manage this. On offer is a permanent part-time contract of around 30 hours per week.

Additionally, we are seeking candidates with availability for multiple overnight shifts across a fortnight.

Your Duties Will Include
  • Delivering personalised support by assisting clients with personal care, administrating medication, manual handling.
  • Supporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent.
  • Building positive relationships with our clients.
  • Transporting clients in your own car.
Requirements
  • Professional Behaviour Support experience or lived experience preferred, however your can-do attitude is key
  • Someone who embodies CPA values, is client-focused in their approach to care, and driven by the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities.
  • Availability across a variety of shift times, including: Early mornings (6am - 9am), Day shifts (9am - 3/4pm), Afternoons & evenings (12pm onwards), Awake overnights (10pm-6am).
  • A current NSW Driver\'s Licence (P2 minimum).
