My Care Keeper is currently seeking a Proficient-level or above Behaviour Support Practitioner, approved by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, to join our growing team.

About You:

Ideal candidates should have:

  • Current NDIS suitability at the Proficient level or above (as confirmed by the NDIS Commission).
  • Experience in report writing, especially developing NDIS Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Proficiency with NDIS reporting systems and case management software.
  • Previous experience mentoring or supervising Behaviour Support Practitioners.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work independently, collaboratively, and in a leadership capacity.
  • A deep passion for supporting people with disability and a commitment to ethical practice.

Responsibilities:

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be:

  • Developing personalised Comprehensive and Interim Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA) using various evidence-based tools.
  • Implement strategies and interventions keeping the holistic well-being of the participants in focus.
  • Working closely with families, carers, and other stakeholders to improve participant outcomes.
  • Mentoring and supervising Core-level Behaviour Support Practitioners.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies and ethical guidelines and all work aligns with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards.
  • Accurately documenting restrictive practices and maintaining thorough case notes.
  • Monitoring participant progress through effective data collection and analysis.
  • Delivering training and skill-building support for participants and their teams.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in Allied Health/ Psychology/ counselling, developmental education or related fields (Master's and above preferred).
  • Australian Driver's license (Open C class).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
  • Working with Children Check clearance
  • Police Clearance Certificate (not less than 6 months old).

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
