About Our Role

Reporting to the Production Coordinator, based in our Jindivick (Vic 3818) Plant. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work with a team that can bring a diverse range of skills to the table, from crafting and creating through to caring for our cheese products. During our peak season from October to January, there are ample overtime opportunities available before Christmas

We are now seeking a proactive Production Operator/Cheesemaker (Fixed Day/Afternoon Shifts) to join our Jindivick (Victoria 3818) team. The position is full-time.

Responsibilities Include
  • Perform manual duties such as fresh ingredient preparation, mixing, general cleaning, and cheese making.
  • Plan and organize own work tasks, prioritize, and monitor performance.
  • Meet scheduling outcomes, identify, and report issues affecting work results.
  • Maintain health and safety standards in the work area.
  • Follow quality control procedures, inspect work quality, and accept responsibility for own work quality.
  • Maintain food safety and GMP standards.
  • Operate supplied equipment.
About You
  • Experience in the food manufacturing industry, specifically in production.
  • Desirable experience in dairy products.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work in rotating Monday to Sunday roster and overtime.
  • Physically fit for labor-intensive, hands-on work.
  • Knowledge and experience in hygiene standards.
