Overview

We're working with a Microsoft partner looking to bring on a senior D365 F&O Presales Consultant who can connect the dots between business needs and technology outcomes. This role is about shaping the solution story from early-stage discovery through to executive presentations. You'll work closely with clients to understand their challenges, design fit-for-purpose solutions, and clearly articulate the value of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations in solving real business problems.



Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia



Responsibilities
  • Lead discovery sessions with prospective clients to unpack business goals and pain points.
  • Design tailored D365 F&O solutions that align with client needs and delivery capability.
  • Build out solution proposals, RFP responses, and executive-level presentations.
  • Develop cost models covering licensing, services, and support.
  • Act as the solution authority across the project lifecycle, working closely with delivery teams.
  • Run product demonstrations that focus on business value, not just features.
  • Contribute to account strategy and help shape long-term roadmaps for clients.


Qualifications
  • 8–10+ years in ERP consulting, with deep experience in Dynamics 365 F&O (or AX).
  • Strong presales background where you've led scoping sessions, built proposals, and presented to execs.
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end ERP programs, ideally in complex or global environments.
  • Solid understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem — Power Platform, Azure, Power BI, D365 CE.
  • Confident communicator who can engage both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to model solutions, estimate effort, and clearly explain ROI.
  • A consultative, collaborative approach — you enjoy helping clients see what's possible.
