COMPANY

This represents a rare opportunity with a market leading civil construction company who are in a rapid phase of sustainable growth. This company is based in the Inner Northern Suburbs of Brisbane close to public transport, Gateway and Airport Link tunnels.

This company has been in operation for many years and they are well known in the industry for the incredible projects they deliver.

POSITION

Due to internal restructuring, the position of Financial Controller has been created.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will involve the following:

  • Leadership and Strategic Development
  • Financial Management and Business Performance
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Cash Flow and Financial Planning
  • Compliance
  • People Management
  • Special Projects/Systems Implementations

Whilst there is a finance team to manage, this role will require the successful candidate to work in a "hands on" capacity.

Please note that this is an office based role.

CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • CA/CPA Qualified
  • Degree Qualified
  • 10+ years experience in financial and management reporting
  • Exceptional understanding of the construction sector and QBCC matters
  • Experience in systems and software implementations
  • Exceptional leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and presentation
