At this pivotal stage of expansion, the group is seeking a Financial Controller to take on a critical leadership role. This is far more than a standard finance position, it's an opportunity to sit at the table with decision-makers, shape strategy, and build the financial and operational foundations that will sustain the next chapter of growth.
Working alongside the General Manager and Board of Directors, you'll collaborate with some of the sharpest minds in the property sector to implement systems, create structure, and drive performance. This is a rare opportunity to join a business where ambition is matched by purpose, and where success is measured not only in returns, but in the trust, integrity, and value delivered to their people, partners, and investors.
The role- Building robust and transparent reporting
- Implementing financial processes, procedures, and systems
- Month end processes
- All statutory/regulatory reporting
- Preparation of board reporting packs
- Building group budgets and forecasts
- Building and developing comprehensive financial models such as NPV, IRR, three-way statement models
- Treasury, debt refinancing, working capital, manage banking relationships
- Support all acquisition activities, including evaluation, analysis, capital allocation, capital raising
- Trust accounting & reporting
- Prep and lodgement of BAS, GST, FBT, stamp duty, land tax
- CA or CPA qualified
- Strong technical accounting foundation, ideally trained in Big 4 or top tier-chartered environments
- Proven experience in senior finance roles working across Financial Reporting, FP&A, and Strategy
- Advanced skills in financial modelling, particularly NPV, IRR, and three-way statement
- Prior experience building and implementing tight financial controls and governance
- Experience working in property and property investment will be highly regarded for this role
- First-time movers from Big 4 or top-tier chartered firms with exposure to property portfolios or property investment businesses are welcome to apply
