As we are set to open in September 2025, at D'Nest, we are ready to redefine the local dining and bar experience. We are a multifaceted venue consisting of a vibrant bar for sporting catch-ups, a cozy restaurant for long lunches and family dinners, a spot for midday lunch catch-ups, after-work drinks, or relaxed weekend gatherings with family and friends.

As we are building something special from the ground up, we are in search of passionate, committed kitchen professionals to join us from day one.

We are looking for individuals who bring energy, experience, and enthusiasm to the kitchen—with creativity. In order to be successful in your application, you'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a high-volume venue and the ability to cope under pressure
  • Relevant trade qualifications in cookery or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of and commitment to food safety standards
  • A creative mindset and genuine passion for food and the hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Flexibility in availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required

The Roles:

Head Chef
  • 3–5 years' experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef who is ready to take the helm in a high-volume gastro pub, hotel, or multi-outlet venue
  • Strong understanding and competency in food cost control, stock ordering, budgeting, and supplier management
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with venue ownership and management
  • Excellent time management and communication skills along with competency in:
    • Food costing
    • Portion control
    • Stock control
    Sous Chef
    • 2–4 years' experience as a Senior Sous Chef or well-experienced Chef de Partie who is ready to step up
    • Assist the Head Chef with daily operations, recruitment and training, and maintenance of food quality and standards
    • Genuine passion for food and creativity
    • Responsible for maintaining exceptional hygiene and cleanliness standards
