The Opportunity

The Sales Engineer collaborates with regional Sales Team members, Product Management, and Customers in developing custom machine options, specifications, and solutions tailored to meet site, application, and environmental needs.

The role involves general engineering duties such as defining problems, solutions, and specifications referencing standards. The engineer should be able to advise conceptually on fundamentals including hydraulics, structural design, low voltage electrical systems, and machine applications.

Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Engineering qualification or trade experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and design software (CAD, SOLIDWORKS, Windchill) highly regarded
  • Understanding of engineering design processes from conceptualization to delivery
  • Good knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic engineering, with a working knowledge of low voltage electrical systems
  • Ability to develop and articulate engineering activity plans and project management strategies
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
