ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:

We have an exciting opportunity in CSSD where you will play a crucial role in sterilising re-usable medical devices, ensuring patient safety and healthcare efficiency. You will join St Vincent's Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager in our Central Sterilising Services Department (CSSD) at East Melbourne. This is a full-time, fixed-term/maternity cover role until January 2026, working 38 hours per week, focusing on maintaining the highest sterilisation standards for patient care.

You will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager - CSSD and the team, bringing your passion and expertise to the role.

ABOUT YOU:

As an outstanding ANUM, you will have comprehensive knowledge of medical instruments and a motivation to learn CSSD processes. Your skills include:

  • Knowledge of high-level disinfection, packing, and sterilisation of RMDs.
  • Understanding of loan equipment and sterile stores processes.
  • Leadership and management skills, working alongside the Nurse Unit Manager - CSSD and the team.
  • Commitment to the philosophy and values of St Vincent's Private Melbourne.
  • Certificate in Sterilisation Services (Desirable).
