We are currently taking applications for a talented individual to support our **Executive General Manager of Construction Industries, Sebastian Banks** as a **Personal Assistant**. This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity based in Brisbane's southern suburbs.In this fantastic opportunity, you will leverage your experience to provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support to our high performing Construction Industries function.**The Role**The key responsibilities include:* Provide efficient and effective administrative assistance and support to the Manager, Leadership and the Construction Industries Business Unit* Anticipate and be one step ahead of Manager requirements and be prepared to make decisions where needed, respond and coordinate tasks as required* Organisation/assistance with presentations, travel, events, functions and general calendar management* Support with financial duties such as annual budgeting, procurement, expenses, and invoicing* Ensure professional, timely, confidential, and effective delivery of internal customer service* Represent the General Manager and Department at meetings and events and be a point of contact and professional representative for the department* Network with internal teams and peers to ensure cohesive delivery of tasks**About You**You may bring the following skills and experience to the role:* **Minimum five years' experience in an Executive Assistant/Personal Assistant role at an executive level*** You will possess a business mindset with proven stakeholder and customer engagement and a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and confidence* Demonstrated ability to take charge without direction to get the job done, with a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and prioritization* Strong organisational skills with the ability to be agile and efficient in prioritising tasks* Excellent computer knowledge, working with Microsoft Office, systems, and data bases* Exemplary written and verbal communication skills* Enthusiasm to be part of a high functioning team and ability to demonstrate the core values Hastings Deering**The Benefits*** Leverage your comprehensive business knowledge & take the next step in your career* Be a part of a thriving business function, where no day is the same.
