Senior Devops Engineer

To support our rapid growth and plans to expand globally, we're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineerwho will work alongside our development team to create, manage and execute complex projects and processes to meet our business needs. This role requires innovation , strategic problem solving skills and the ability to collaborate as well as work individually. We are looking for an individual who has the skillset to fill in gaps that require more expertise within our development team and can quickly pivot into a different direction to align with the changing needs of the business.

Job Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain CI / CD pipelines using tools such as Bitbucket Pipelines and GitHub Actions to streamline software delivery processes.
• Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications and services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Optimize the performance and reliability of Linux-based systems and web servers, particularly Nginx.
• Monitor system health and implement improvements to enhance reliability, scalability, and availability.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments.
• Enforce security best practices across infrastructure, application deployments, and environments.
• Research, evaluate, and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance infrastructure and deployment efficiency.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members on DevOps methodologies, tools, and best practices.

The ideal candidate should have :

Deep experience with DevOps tooling and practices, including :Infrastructure as Code (IaC), version control (Git), and deployment automationServer management and scripting (Linux, Bash, etc.)Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, and — comfortable reading, understanding, and occasionally contributing to backend and frontend codeExcellent debugging and problem-solving skills across the stackStrong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and Laravel ORM best practicesExperience integrating and configuring DevOps tools into agile development environmentsStrong communication and collaboration skills
