OverviewThe Facility Manager is responsible for the day to day management of building operations and maintenance for one client site. Oversees facility maintenance management and safety programs and manages performance metrics in accordance with account KPIs.
Responsibilities- Deliver efficient and cost-effective FM services across the client site, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Manage the HSE program and provide annual HSE inspections.
- Collaborate with building management, supervisors, and contractors to resolve issues in a timely, respectful, collaborative and professional manner with a partnered approach.
- Prepare, manage, and update the Annual Opex and Capex programme and budgets in conjunction with the client and other team members.
- Implement and maintain preventative maintenance schedules and risk management procedures/compliance, asset management and other premises management initiatives.
- Prepare consolidated monthly reports including client service requests, key issues, tenancy inspections outcomes, project status and pipeline.
- Manage the energy savings program and maintain accurate data of system set points, timer clocks and equipment usage.
- Pro-actively report on potential energy efficiency improvements and monitor results after implementation.
- Tertiary qualifications in property discipline and/or trade background are desirable.
- At least 2 years of facilities management experience.
- Track record in managing fit-outs, refurbishments, and maintenance.
- Good understanding of financials, including budget preparation, portfolio budgeting, reporting requirements, and project/service-related financial management.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate at all levels and build professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong logical and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of current Health & Safety at work Act.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of core Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Outlook).
