The Role

We are looking for a graduate to join the team. As the Supply Chain Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the purchasing function and ensuring smooth operations across the supply chain. You will work closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and the logistic team to coordinate inventory activities, and ensure timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing Support
    • Assist with purchase order creation, tracking, and updates in the ERP system.
    • Communicate with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
    • Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Supply Chain Coordination
    • Coordinate incoming shipments and ensure proper documentation is in place
    • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to schedule and track deliveries.
  • Administrative & Reporting
    • Prepare regular reports on purchase orders, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
    • Support audits and compliance requirements related to procurement and inventory.
  • Customer Service Support
    • Support with claims process during peak season
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or purchasing support (preferably in FMCG).
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or similar.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • ERP experience welcome (i.e M3, SAP).
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
