HammondCare are actively seeking multiple experienced Business Support Advisors to support Residential Aged Care – to be based across various HammondCare Residential sites on a Full-Time basis. This position has flexible work from home and on site options.

About The Role

The role of Business Support Advisor supports HammondCare's Mission by delivering strategic research, policy analysis, and data-driven insights to guide Residential Care. The role leads innovation projects, provides evidence-based advice, and facilitates collaborative workshops to shape future strategies. The role champions change leadership and continuous improvement while driving external engagement to enhance HammondCare's influence and reputation.

Essence Of The Role
  • Strategic Research & Insight - focuses on identifying emerging trends and risks through horizon scanning and benchmarking. Insights are translated into actionable recommendations to guide HammondCare's Residential Care strategy.
  • Policy & Reform Advisory - analysing government reforms and policy changes to provide clear, strategic advice to senior leaders. It includes preparing briefing papers to support informed decision-making.
  • Innovation & Improvement Design - designing and piloting new service models and technologies. Collaboration with external partners helps test and refine innovative solutions before implementation.
  • Advisory & Influence - provides evidence-based advice to managers on strategic opportunities and risks, while facilitating workshops to co-design future organisational directions.
  • Change Leadership & Culture Shaping - champions a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, guiding how change initiatives are understood and adopted across the organisation.
  • Data-Driven Strategy Development - uses demographic, market, and financial data to inform planning. It also involves creating business cases and strategic options for major transformation efforts.
  • External Engagement & Advocacy - represents HammondCare in sector forums and partnerships, building relationships with government and industry to strengthen the organisation's influence and reputation.
About You
  • Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare's Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action.
  • Experience in coordinating or supporting projects in health, aged care, hospitality, or service environments.
  • Proven experience in an administrative, customer service, or compliance role, preferably within health, aged care, or community services.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and document management.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with or the ability to learn aged care compliance requirements, including privacy, documentation, and regulatory standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to show initiative, problem-solving, and analytical thinking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Empathy, patience, and a service-focused mindset, with a commitment to delivering exceptional internal and external customer service.
