An exciting opportunity has become available for a Food Services Team Leader to oversee the Food Services Department, reporting to the Catering Manager.

About the role…

As a Food Services Team Leader, your responsibilities for the day-to-day running of the department will include:

  • Staff management
  • Resource allocation
  • Ordering and procurement
  • Food safety
  • Quality and functional supervision
  • Providing leadership and direction to align with the hospital's strategic goals, operational processes, budget, and business objectives

This role offers shifts either Monday to Friday from 6am to 2pm or 12pm to 8pm.

  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a kitchen, healthcare facility, or hotel
  • Leadership skills to develop staff and deliver exceptional service
  • A demonstrated commitment to quality improvement
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing rosters, staffing, and supervision
  • Ability to handle enquiries and resolve complaints
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks
  • Effective communication skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Hospitality supervisory experience preferred
