Your Position: Stakeholder Engagement and EducationOfficer

In this role, you will be responsible for developing anddelivering engagement and education strategies, managing stakeholdercommunication, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements across CityStrategy projects. Success in the position requires strong communication andproject management skills, the ability to build effective relationships, andrelevant qualifications or professional experience in Communications,Education, Adult Learning, Urban Planning or a related field.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: -

• Producing an overarching City Strategy Engagement Strategy and leading delivery acrossdirectorate projects.
• Establishing and managing an overarching City Strategy Education Program and implementing project specific plans and provide customer education.
• Delivering communications to support City Strategy Directorate business.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory engagement requirements and implementing publicparticipation activities for City Strategy business.
• Organising and delivering industry forums, stakeholder events and education programsacross all directorate functions.

To be successful in this role you will have: -

• Tertiary at degree level in Communications, Education, Adult Learning,Urban Planning or equivalent qualification or professional experience.
• Abilityto communicate effectively and sensitively, whilst developing workingrelationships with all stakeholders.
• Knowledgeand ability to develop and implement high quality and effective educationand stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Excellentwritten and oral communication skills.
• Abilityto represent Council in public forums in a professional and knowledgeablemanner.
• Goodresearch, analytical, time & project management skills.
• Availabilityto work out of hours and on weekends as required.

Key Requirements:

• Willingnessto complete a pre-employment health assessment
• Current NSW Driver's License
• A current and valid Workingwith Children Check Clearance
